During your appointment, we assess your gown on your body, refine key areas through precise pinning, and establish the correct proportions, including hem considerations. We’ll talk through your vision, comfort, and movement needs, then map the alteration scope with clarity and intention. You will leave with a detailed quote and a clear understanding of next steps.

The Initial Fitting and Consultation is complimentary and typically takes up to one hour. It is recommended when your wedding, event, or travel date falls within the 7 to 14 week window from your appointment date. This timing allows the work to be completed with precision, without rushed compromises.

  • This service is designed for brides within the recommended 7 to 14 week window. If your date is closer than that, you should book a Rushed Alteration instead so your gown is prioritized appropriately and your turnaround is handled intentionally rather than squeezed into a standard timeline.

  • This complimentary fitting includes precise pinning, detailed note taking, and expert assessment, and it often takes up to an hour to do correctly. If you choose not to proceed with our services, your gown will be unpinned and all notes taken during your fitting will be removed. This protects the time and expertise required to deliver couture level accuracy.

  • If you are still deciding whether to keep a gown, are comparing multiple options, or want professional guidance before committing, choose Consultation Only. If you already have your gown and your timeline is tight, choose Rushed Alteration to ensure the work is scheduled with the urgency your date requires.

  • While each gown is as unique as the bride who wears it, pricing for alterations begins at $400 and can increase depending on the complexity of design and the level of couture craftsmanship required to capture your bridal gown vision.
